Cleaning
We recommend cleaning with warm soapy water and a clean cloth. Do not use detergents or abrasive cleaners.
Location
Our shutters are designed to operate in confined spaces so cabinet location should not be a problem. Do not place portable radiators in front of the shutter door.
Lubrication
To ensure smooth running of the shutter system we recommend lightly smearing the inner walls of the track (where they come in contact with the shutter slats) with petroleum jelly. Silicone spray will also have a short-term effect but under test conditions we have found petroleum jelly to have a longer lasting effect.
Operation
Our shutters are designed to work with the minimum of effort, if you find excessive force is required, check that overfilled contents of the cabinet have not become entangled in the track or are impeding the operation of the roller.
Moving
Should you need to move the cabinet in which the shutter is fitted, we suggest the cabinet is emptied of loose items and the cabinet moved with the shutter secured in the closed position.
